The hinge snaps shut with a satisfying click and feels solid on my wrist. I sized up to the S/M since my wrist is just over 15.5cm, and the internal diameter fits comfortably without spinning. The 3.9mm depth gives it just enough presence without feeling clunky.
I was worried the gold tone might look cheap, but the 18ct PVD plating on stainless steel has a real depth to it. The 3.9mm width feels substantial without being clunky, and it glides over my wrist bone without any pinching.
