The ruby is such a rich, deep red and at 8.8mm it’s noticeable without being bulky on my neck. I’ve worn it daily for two weeks and the 14ct gold hasn’t tarnished or irritated my skin at all, which is more than I can say for my old costume jewelry.
The adjuster on the chain is perfect for me since I like my necklaces a bit shorter than 45cm. The ruby itself feels substantial for such a delicate piece, and the gold has a lovely warm tone that catches the light nicely.
The ruby is such a deep, rich red in person, and the pendant sits beautifully at 8.8mm without feeling bulky. I've worn it every day since it arrived and it's held up perfectly, even with the adjustable chain cinched to 41cm.
