The square pearl is way bigger than I expected from the photos—10.5mm, so it makes a real statement for a stud. It’s surprisingly light on the ear at just over 6 grams, and the 18ct gold plating gives it a warm, dressy glow I’ve worn to work all week.
I wore them to a wedding and got three compliments before dinner—the gold plating gives off a warm glow that photographs beautifully. At 6.13g they're light enough to forget you have them on, but the square pearl definitely makes a statement.
The gold plating hasn't tarnished after daily wear for a month, and the 10.5mm square pearl sits really nicely on my lobe. The 6.5mm button pearl behind it gives a subtle two-layer look that photographs better than I expected.
